It has been a really long time since i have posted a blog entry. There has been so much that has happened in the passage of time. But all is revealed in due time. The point on my mind today is purpose.
This single word has the power to change the world and also the power to destroy it, and worst of all the power to leave it the same as it is. Everything we do , everything we say all comes down to purpose in some way. My theory is that purpose is just a small part of something greater, Legacy.
The socially acceptable purpose of settling down and having kids is a really noble purpose that does not get enough credit at all. Having a family is more than just getting married and having a bunch of kids. It is about leaving behind a legacy that changes generations to come through your children and in turn theirs and so on. I don't think many people understand exactly what they are doing by having kids , more so the impact that those kids have on the world in the present and the future.
So what is it that you want to do with your life on Earth? I mean , you have around 80-100 years to live on earth , how are you going to make that time count? When you die someday , how will you be remembered? Who will remember you ? Even more important , long after you are gone , will you be remembered for some great thing you did or didn't do?
There is a saying: "What is history but a marker for the great deeds of men."
Personally , I want to leave behind a legacy that is greater than i can even imagine , i want to change this world and many many many years down the line , people will remember the great deed i accomplished more than anything. But most importantly i want to leave behind a legacy that my family and future family can be extremely proud of.
I encourage you to think big. You can change the world. Dont let anyone tell you otherwise.
